A look at the weekend in local craft beer:

FRIDAY

Millwood Brewing officially becomes the area's newest brewery; it will be open daily from 1 to 9 p.m.

SATURDAY

– Black Label celebrates its third anniversary from 5 to 10 p.m. with $3 pints – including two new beers, Boozy Palousie and Boysenberry Sour – plus funky jack music by the Brook Gannon Trio. It caps a year that saw the downtown brewery expand its production capacity, add a crowler machine and win the popular vote at the Girl Scouts' Craft Beer & Cookie Fest for a third straight year.

Twelve String kicks off its weekly Saturday Night Specials starting at 5, with $1 off all beer (including growler fills), wine, food and merchandise.
