Friday’s openings: Oh, yeah, he’s ba-ack!

Dan Webster

Comedy, drama and a bit of torture porn are on tap when Friday's movies open. The national slate looks like this:

"Jigsaw": Just when you thought the "Saw" franchise was done, John Kramer returns. Ooooooohh!

"Suburbicon": George Clooney directed, the Coen brothers co-wrote and Matt Damon stars in this comedy about man, a home invasion and a quiet community that begins making noise. Expect quirk.

"Thank You for Your Service": Service in Iraq is bad for your emotional health, so say some U.S. soldiers who have trouble readjusting to life after wartime. Thank a veteran.

I'll update when the local listings are finalized.
