– Waddell's Brewpub holds a tapping party for its newly released SpoLite lager on Thursday from 3 to 5.

– A late harvest fresh-hop ale brewed with locally grown Cascades is this week's small-batch release at Daft Badger.

 

UPDATES TUESDAY 11/1

– The session IPL (India pale lager) that won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival is back on tap at Perry Street.

– Iron Goat has released its seasonal Punk Kidd (formerly Punkid) pumpkin ale.

 

A look at the upcoming week in local craft beer:

MONDAY

– Arpeggio Pale is beer of the week at Twelve String, with discount pints and growler fills. 

TUESDAY

– No-Li's weekly Flights & Bites features pumpkin curry paired with Born & Raised IPA, a pumpkin orange brioche roll with Rise & Grind coffee milk stout and pumpkin/sausage/shrimp jambalaya with Spin Cycle Red; get all three for $15 after 5 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

–  Pilgrim's hosts a free Beer Valley tasting starting at 3:30 including Owyee Amber, Pigskin Pale, Leafer Madness IPA, Dark Dog Porter and Black Flag Imperial Stout.

THURSDAY

– Nectar Wine and Beer welcomes its November brewery of the month, Two Beers/Seattle Cider, with a tasting from 6 to 8 featuring Two Beers' Pilchuk Pilsner, Immersion Amber, Wonderland IPA and Tipsy Toboggan winter ale plus Seattle Cider's Dry and Winesap; get a flight for $10.

– Durkin's Liquor Bar presents an Iron Goat brewer's dinner featuring five courses (including braised goat) paired with accompanying beers. Cost is $65 (includes tax and tip); call (509) 863-8501.

SATURDAY

Warriors of the Rotating Tap (WORT) homebrew club members give brewing demonstrations and share samples from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at HopStop in Post Falls for national Learn to Homebrew Day

– Sandpoint's 7B Hop Heads homebrew club has a demonstration day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at MickDuff's. 

Nu Home Brew & Bottles offers a free introductory brewing course from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

– Downdraft's second anniversary party from noon to 11 p.m. includes the release of four small-batch beers plus live music by Fair 2 Middlin' and food from Mac Daddy's.

Bellwether hosts a competition by members of the Inland Brewers Unite (IBU) homebrew club from 2 to 5 p.m. featuring seven variations on a base English oat pale ale recipe, plus the original; get a flight for $9 and vote for your favorite.

SUNDAY

– Your first beer is free at Mad Bomber's second annual customer appreciation day.
