– The seasonal Midnight Marmot Imperial Stout returns today at River City.

– Perry Street's Scotch ale is back on tap.

 

UPDATES THURSDAY 10/13

– Hopped Up has tapped its seasonal Punkin Porter.

– Selkirk Abbey is pouring a barrel-aged Guilt imperial porter.

– Enoteca is offering special $5 Sierra Nevada and Beer Valley flights this week. 

– Steady Flow Growler House has Dogfish Head's 60, 90 and 120 Minute IPAs for sample trays, full pours and growler fills.

– Bellwether releases a cucumber gruit on Saturday – with dandelion leaf, basil and spearmint in place of hops – the first in a weekly series of small-batch beers brewed with ingredients from the owners' gardens.    

– New Boundary hosts a Seahawks potluck on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with happy hour prices all day. 

– Casper Fry is taking reservations for a five-course No-Li brewers dinner on Monday. Cost is $65; call (509) 535-0536.

 

UPDATES WEDNESDAY 10/12

– Slate Creek's seasonal Fly'n Kilt Scotch ale has returned for tonight's Slate@8:00, with $3 pints from 8 to close along with live music and food by Las Brasas Mexican Grill.  

– Black Label has tapped a Fox's Fresh Hop pale made with homegrown Chinook and finished with Citra over a Maris Otter malt base.

– The seasonal Break Off the Line vanilla bourbon stout is back at English Setter.

– Cheney's New Boundary is serving a small-batch Eagles Punch, a variation on its Lemon Kick hard lemonade made with lime and aged on tequila-steeped wood chips.

– Hopped Up is offering $10 growler fills today and Thursday in advance of being closed Friday and Saturday for a family wedding.

– The North Spokane Growler Guys is serving a four-beer flight Friday from 5 to 8 – including Ballast Point's Pineapple Sculpin, Elysian's Dark O' the Moon pumpkin stout, a blackberry porter and a green apple cider – paired with Emmerson's Cupcakes from Coeur d'Alene.

 

UPDATE TUESDAY 10/11

– Instead of a Wednesday small-batch release, Daft Badger this week will bring back a large batch of its Bourbon Barrel Stout.

 

A look at the upcoming week in local craft beer:

MONDAY

– Twelve String taps a bourbon barrel-aged double Drop DD chocolate stout; beer of the week is the regular Drop D stout, with $4 pints and $8 growler fills.

– Browne's Addition is the featured neighborhood for this month's LocALE Mondays at No-Li; get a free souvenir pint glass with a purchase of Crony brown ale between 5 and 8 p.m.

TUESDAY

– No-Li's Oktoberfest-themed weekly Flights & Bites offerings are chicken schnitzel in Wrecking Ball gravy paired with Pumpkin PiePA, a potato dumpling with butternut squash, bacon and bleu cheese with Spin Cycle Red and a mixed berry strudel with Oyster Stout; get all three small-plate pairings for $15 after 5 p.m.  

WEDNESDAY

– Pilgrim's presents a free Grand Teton tasting starting at 3:30 including the Sweet Grass pale, a Citra/Chinook fresh hop IPA, Pursuit of Hoppiness imperial red, barrel-aged imperial farmhouse ale and Wake Up Call imperial coffee porter.

FRIDAY

– Republic Brewing's annual Oktoberfest opens at 2 p.m. with Bavarian-style beers, games, prizes for those in costume and German-style food from The Hive Catering.

– The South Hill Growler Guys hosts a Grand Teton tasting from 4 to 7 featuring the fresh hop IPA along with Pursuit of Hoppiness imperial red, barrel-aged imperial farmhouse ale, Wake Up Call imperial coffee porter and vintage 2015 Black Cauldron imperial stout.

– A Sockeye tasting runs from 4 to 7 at the Coeur d'Alene Growler Guys with El Jefe salted lime Mexican-style lager, Socktoberfest, barrel-aged Apple Jacked amber and Huggy Bear dark sour.

– The Filling Station on 5th hosts its Fill Freshtival starting today at 5 featuring 10 fresh hop beers plus prizes and food specials. 

– Twelve String taps a rum barrel-aged imperial pumpkin porter

– The Valley Total Wine has a Meet Your Craft Brewer tasting from 6:30 to 8:30 (brewery to be announced); cost is $10.

SATURDAY

– Badass Backyard Brewing plans to open its new taproom from noon to 8 at 1415 N. Argonne (in the Argonne Mission Center), pending final inspections.

– Republic Brewing's Oktoberfest continues from noon to 10.

– Sandpoint's 219 Lounge holds a fresh hop festival from 1 to 7 with brewery reps, brats and sauerkraut, and live music.

– The Fill Freshtival continues at Coeur d'Alene's Filling Station on 5th.

– The Northpointe Total Wine has a Meet Your Craft Brewer tasting from 3 to 5 (brewery to be announced); cost is $10.

– Moscow's second annual Scotstoberfest with the Border Highlanders runs from 5:30 to 9:30 at Rants & Raves.
