Catching up with more news from the past week in local craft beer:

– Charitable efforts are in full swing heading into this holiday season:

• Through November, No-Li is donating $1 for every case of 12-ounce bottles and cans sold at Rosauers supermarkets to Tom's Turkey Drive, which provides Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Donations are being accepted at Rosauers stores today, and online.

• Orlison's downtown taproom is collecting nonperishable food and cash donations for the Second Harvest food bank through the end of the month.

• Get $1 off per pint at Post Falls Brewing this weekend for every shelf-stable item brought in for the Post Falls Food Bank.

• The Coeur d'Alene Growler Guys Coat Drive continues through Wednesday; receive $5 off your purchase by donating a new or gently used coat to the Union Gospel Mission.

• Manito Tap House is contributing $1 from every pint of Red, White & No-Li pale ale sold through Wednesday to help a Spokane Valley family recover from a home fire that badly burned a mother and daughter. No-Li last weekend raised more than $15,000 for the cause by selling discount cases of Big Juicy IPA at the brewery.

– Selkirk Abbey is preparing to pour four specialty beers for Black Friday, and conducting a Facebook poll of eight contenders: the new Atonement tripel and Cuvee de la Nuit Profonde blend; barrel-aged versions of the 8˚ dubbel, Guilt imperial porter and Grace Scotch ale; and 10˚ quadruple, 12˚ Belgian strong dark and Saint Joseph imperial saison.

– New Boundary is releasing its popular Lemon Kick hard lemonade in 22-ounce bottles for sale at the taproom and outside distribution.

Four Eyed Guys has passed its state liquor license inspection and plans to begin brewing next week pending final federal approval. It's starting out as a small distribution-only brewery.

– Bombastic Brewing, which is lining up permits to open at the Panhandle Area Council business incubator in Hayden, has launched both a YouTube beer review channel and a craft beer drinker survey.

– Perry Street Brewing and Casper Fry have announced their second annual Winter Jubilee Beer Dinner on Dec. 5. It begins with a tour and first course and beer at the brewery, then moves down the street to Casper Fry for the remaining four courses (built around a local Cascano Farms pig) and beers. Cost is $65; for reservations, call (509) 535-0536 or (509) 279-2820.

– Iron Goat has won this year's commercial Rehabilitation & Preservation award from Spokane Preservation Advocates for restoring the former Jones Automotive Building downtown as its brewery and taproom.
