UPDATES THURSDAY 7/29

– The North Spokane Growler Guys celebrates its second anniversary Saturday with beer specials, free pizza and prizes.

– Post Street hosts a Maritime Pacific tap takeover today featuring Portage Bay Pilsner, Clipper Golden Wheat, Flagship Red, Islander Pale and Imperial Pale.

– New Boundary has tapped a limited-release Imperial Bouchet Wheat, a bigger (10 percent ABV) version of its regular Honey Wheat brewed with toasted honey for a bright red color and complex flavor.   

 

UPDATES TUESDAY 7/26

– Puyallup River Brewing makes its Spokane debut today at Post Street Ale House with a Pineapple Paradise Cream Ale and Electron IPA.

– A S'mores Stout brewed with graham crackers, chocolate and toasted marshmallow is the specialty pour for the next-to-last Brewsday Tuesday at No-Li from 5 to 8.

– The return of the barrel-aged cream ale is the weekly Wednesday small-batch release at Daft Badger, after spending another month in the barrel.

 

A look at the upcoming week in local craft beer:

MONDAY

– Rhythmic RyePA is beer of the week at Twelve String, with $4 pints and $9 growler fills.

WEDNESDAY

– Laughing Dog will be featured in a free tasting at Pilgrim's starting at 3:30, including Cream Ale (and its huckleberry version), Rocket Dog Rye and Anubis Pecan Porter.

– The #SpoBU Twitter meetup group holds its monthly gathering at Iron Goat from 4 to 6.

THURSDAY

– Bellwether has a community pint night benefit from 3 to 9 to send kids to camp through Spokane Youth for Christ.

– Slate Creek is on board for this week's Brews Cruise on Hayden Lake from 7 to 9; tickets are $39 (includes beer and hors d'ouevres).

FRIDAY

– The Coeur d'Alene Growler Guys welcomes Lagunitas for a tasting of Aunt Sally dry-hopped sour, IPA, Lucky 13 imperial red and Cappuccino Stout from 4 to 7. 

– Fremont's Sour Weiss Grapefruit, Summer Ale, The Brother Imperial IPA and Rusty Nail bourbon barrel-aged stout will pour in a tasting starting at 5 at Bottles, with the Mac Daddy's food truck on hand.

SATURDAY

– A community pint fundraiser from 2 to 10 at Mad Bomber supports Pediatric Stroke Warriors, with raffles and barbecue.

– The Lantern Tap House's Summer Concert Series features $4 pints from New Belgium and music by Big Red Barn at 9.
