Ales of Avista: Beer’s here

Rick Bonino

Now that we’ve told you what beers will be pouring at Avista Stadium when the Inland Northwest Craft Beer Festival kicks off today at 4 p.m., here are some other details you’ll need to know:

– The festival runs today until 8 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 8.

– It’s too late for today, but advance discount tickets for tomorrow still are available for $20 here. Admission at the gate is $25 ($15 for military with valid ID).

– Your ticket gets you a souvenir tasting glass and tokens for six 5-ounce samples. Additional tokens are $2 each, or four for $5.

– Food offerings include Veraci Pizza, the 3 Ninjas food truck and an unnamed barbecue purveyor.

– Live music on the stage near second base will be provided by Dimestore Prophets today starting at 6, and Folkinception’s Matt Mitchell at 1, Dimestore Prophets at 3 and The Backups at 5 tomorrow.

– You must be 21 or older to get in (be prepared to show ID). No dogs are allowed, except for registered service animals.

– Designated drivers are admitted for $5, which includes free water and soda. Whatever you do, tipple and travel safely – and enjoy!
