Let’s get small

Rick Bonino

No-Li Brewhouse has decided to downsize again.

Tickets go on sale Monday for the third No Boundaries on the River small-batch beer festival, Saturday, May 16 on the riverfront patio at the Spokane brewpub.

It will again feature a dozen barrel-aged, infused and other small-batch specialties, along with the debut of No-Li’s latest bottled barrel beer, a blend of Wrecking Ball imperial stout and Jet Star imperial IPA aged in whiskey barrels.

Live music and food will round out the event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $20, at the pub or online starting at noon; that gets you your first five 5-ounce samples.

This is one where you don’t want to wait too long if you’re interested. Tickets for the first festival last April disappeared at the door in the first 45 minutes, and the second event in August sold out in advance.

This year’s festival will be one of the closing attractions of the first full-fledged Spokane Craft Beer Week, which runs May 11-17. No-Li also will host a kickoff event featuring six collaboration beers from a dozen other area breweries.
