Get your green on

Rick Bonino

Green beer may be a creature of the macrobrew culture, but that isn’t stopping some craft breweries from getting in on the St. Paddy’s Day action.

Orlison distributed kegs of colored Clem’s Gold to the South Hill Growler Guys, Havanuther light pilsner to the Post Street Ale House and Pilsner 37 to Silver Mountain Resort.

Paragon in Coeur d’Alene is serving a greened Galena Gold from Boise’s Sockeye Brewing, while in Post Falls, Downdraft is pouring a tinted Project Pale upon request.

And in Sandpoint, both MickDuff’s (which sounds vaguely Gaelic) and Laughing Dog are offering emerald versions of their own creations.

Just don’t say we didn’t warn you.
