A great Blue Heron spreads it's huge slate blue wings as it lifts off for flight their wing span is some 72 inches.

At 30 acer lake Turnbull wildlife refuge a female Northern Harrier descends into the reeds to gather material for her nest she is brown and white in color while the male is Gray and white they nest out their every spring.
