Lovin' Your Lakes

Where do you like to spend your summers? With more than 50 lovely lakes in a 100-miles radius of the Spokane area, there are plenty of places to call YOUR favorite. Even if you haven’t found your special spot yet, there are plenty of choices to check out this summer. Whatever lake you end up choosing, we want to see your photos! We’re inviting all readers to share a ‘selfie’ from their favorite area lake between now and the end of September. All you need is to include: * Recognizable surroundings (a campsite, a beach, a trail, aboard a boat, etc.) * Yourself. * A short description of the lake and why it’s special to you. We’ll choose our favorite photo each month from all the photos submitted in July, August and September. You can turn in up to five photos in each month. The July winner receives four daily passes to Silverwood Theme Park. The August winner receives four tickets for a Lake Coeur d’Alene boat cruise courtesy of Coeur d’Alene Cruises. September’s winner receives a $100 Sports Authority gift card. Photos will be displayed on website during the length of the contest. See Rules for complete details.

NOTE: Before photos show up in the reader photo gallery, they must be approved by an editor. If yours does not show up immediately, fear not. The only likely delay is that an editor has not had a chance to approve new photo submissions yet. Thanks for participating!
