Fedora Pub & Grille
1726 W. Kathleen Ave., Coeur d Alene, ID
The Fedora is the sort of place where Frank Sinatra might feel right at home, were he alive and living in the Inland Northwest. The modernistic yet nostalgic spot is full of sports and movie memorabilia, along with a scattered collection of hats of all types. Old-time jazz music adds to the atmosphere, as do the dim lighting and rich woods, and while most of the numerous TVs show sports, one is dedicated to vintage films. The beverage focus here is more on wine, but there also are 18 beer taps pouring several noteworthy local and regional micros in addition to some more macro selections. The menu is heavy on steaks, seafood and pasta, along with a classic Monte Cristo sandwich at lunchtime.
