Feb. 26: Dr. Sarah Martin is an anthropologist at Spokane Falls Community College whose recent research addresses strategies for teaching critical thinking skills in science classes. Past research interests have focused on health and disease in past human populations. In 2016, she was awarded the Anne Sue McNeil Assessment, Teaching and Learning Award. Martin will be speaking on “Women in Antiquity: Legacy of Power.” Tickets include first glass of wine. $5 of every ticket sold will be donated to this month’s nonprofit partner, Women’s Educational Scholarship Fund.
