Presented by Kinnikinnick Native Plant Society and City of Sandpoint Parks and Recreation Department. A discussion on native plant conservation and KNPS’ role in it. Speakers include program coordinator and emeritus profess of horticulture from WSU, Preston Andrews; board president, former employee for the Bureau of Land Management. and known in Sandpoint as, “The Weed Guy”, Ken Thacker; and past president of KNPS, former co-chair of the Conservation Committee, radio host, and member of several local wildlife and conservation organizations, Phil Hough.
