Authors Koho, Gurian to present books today

Dan Webster

It's been awhile since I've listed any book-themed events. Today I will mention two.

11 a.m.: Spokane author Sharon Lewis Koho will appear at the Barnes & Noble store at Northtown Mall to sign copies of her two books, "The Painting on the Pond" and "To Walk In His Moccasins."

7 p.m.: Spokane author Michael Gurian will read from his young-adult novel "The Stone Boys" at Auntie's Bookstore. Gurian's novel tells the story of two teenagers who abduct a bully and ultimately have to face questions of "good and evil and what it means to be a man."

Both events are free and open to the public.
