We’re sorry to say, the time has come: This is our final post in the On Tap blog.

For almost four years, we’ve tried to keep you connected to the Inland Northwest craft beer scene, from all the breweries, beers and events to the individuals who make them happen to the trends they collectively create.

We’d like to think we did a pretty decent job of that. But despite our best efforts, the blog simply hasn’t attracted enough readers or advertisers to become financially viable in its current form.

Don’t worry, we’re not going away. We’ll still bring you the latest news from the local brewing community in our twice-monthly On Tap newspaper column in The Spokesman-Review’s Food section on Wednesdays. (And we'll continue to tweet things we find interesting.)

We’re forever grateful to those who did share the journey with us, from readers to brewers and bar owners to the Spokane7 crew. To all of you, drink smart, drink safe, and drink well.

Oh, and local. Be sure to drink local, too.
