Scary Santa
In December of 1969 we visited my grandfather who had a tradition of dressing up as Santa and "entertaining" the kids. But this year I was having no part of it. Fortunately I outgrew my fear of Santa (and Grandpa) and now enjoy annual visits to Ol' St. Nick. (Linda L. Wilson)
The results of Spokane 7/Fabulocity’s first-ever Scary Santa are in, and the winners are… anyone who got a chuckle about seeing more than 40 local kids howling, shrieking, sobbing, or generally wanting to be anywhere but on St. Nick’s lap.
After considerable debate, we chose the photo of Rhiannon and Beibhinn Kilgore, taken at the Harvest House earlier this month to be our grand prize winner. For submitting the photo, Nicole receives a classic oversized 7 T-shirt.
In the spirit of indecision, we picked two other runners-up: brother and sister combo Trent and Mattison Browne, who had different but equally unpleasant reactions to Santa at the Spokane Valley Mall; and Caitlyn’s first visit to Santa. Both contributors will receive Spokane 7 flying discs.
