Your Photos: Egg-citing Easter fun
Anyone who has ever taken a photography class has learned that you need to be aware of what’s going on behind whoever or whatever you’re taking a photo of.
You may end up with someone unexpected walking through your photo, or odd things with perspective going on in the background that the viewfinder picks up but your eye doesn’t.
In the case of Linda Parry’s grandson Hayden last Easter, this technique produced some very bunny, we mean, very funny results.
While the 3-year-old calmly munched on Easter treats and perused his basket, the photo added some extra seasonal appendages, namely two bunny-like ears from the swing behind him.
This touch added just the right amount of quirkiness to make the photo be chosen as the favorite “egg-citing” photos by our panel of judges. This effort wasn’t easy, as we had 30-plus images that we felt were quite fun and fanciful.
For her effort and abilities to capture an image almost as elusive as the real bunny, we awarded her a special Easter basket of goodies to share with or family. Or not We do want to thank everyone for their submissions! Stay tuned for future 7 contests!
