Dan Evans (Christian Bale) is a struggling farmer who gets hired to take villain Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) to meet the 3:10 train. Director James Mangold updates the 1957 Delmer Daves original but adds a few twists that, in the end, do little more than blur the line between good and evil.
