The Lego Batman Movie
- PG (for rude humor and some action)
- Running time:
- 104 minutes
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made "The LEGO速 Movie" a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble - LEGO Batman - stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
- Release date:
- February 10, 2017
- Quick review:
- Witty animated sequel to the surprise hit original, with Will Arnett providing the voice of lonely recluse Batman, who changes for the better when he falls for the police commissioner’s daughter (Rosario Dawson) and adopts an orphan (Michael Cera) who becomes Robin. Fast-paced, full of jokes that draw from the long history of Batman comic books, movies and television shows. Also featuring Zach Galifianakis as the voice of The Joker.
