Family waterpark. Open daily June 13-Sept. 7. Hours are Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays; noon-6 p.m. on Sundays.
Silverwood Theme Park
Admission to the park includes all rides, attractions and shows. July: Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Boulder Beach is open daily 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Special events: July 4: Fireworks Extravaganza with fireworks at dusk; July 21 and 28: Toyota Tuesdays, the driver of any Toyota gets free admission when they bring an admission coupon from any Inland Empire regional Toyota dealer.
Arbor Crest Wine Concert Series
July 3, Jazz Patriots of the Washington Army National Guard playing swing music 6-7:30 p.m., free admission; July 5 and 19, Singlewide playing variety; July 12, Six Foot Swing playing swing music; July 26, Timmy Swift and the Swingin' Vinos playing swing and rockin' music. No one under age 21, no outside alcohol, outside food allowed. Food available for purchase by Catered for You. June-August concerts begin at 5:30 p.m., September concerts begin at 4:30 p.m.; all concerts end at sunset.
Bayview Daze
July 3-5
Friday-Sunday in downtown Bayview. Street bazaar all three days. Saturday street parade at 11 a.m., lighted boat parade at dusk, fireworks at 10 p.m. over the lake. Includes music, vendors and fun.
Coeur d'Alene Bead Stampede
July 3-5
Friday, noon-5 p.m., Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
16th annual event featuring weird, wonderful, new and ancient beads made of stone, bone, wood, paper, clay, metal, horn, plymer clay and glass. Free parking.
Demolition Derby and Fireworks Extravaganza
Annual family event. Advance ticket available at Post Falls Les Schwab Tires.
Fourth of July Celebration - Riverfront Park
All-day activities for kids and adults, with food, vendors, arts and crafts, beer garden and live music.
Horse and Carriage Rides
Friday evenings in July and August. Travels through downtown Spokane, guests receive a complimentary rose, as well as a sheet of dining specials and at some of downtown's restaurants. Sponsored by the Spokane Teachers Credit Union and the Downtown Spokane Business Improvement District. First come, first served. No Reservations.

Jesse Colin Young, Founder and Lead singer of The Youngbloods (1960s) and the Jesse Colin Young Band (1970s) has long been known for his beautiful tenor voice, strong guitar
accompaniment and critically acclaimed heartfelt lyrics. Jesse started his solo career in Greenwich Village with the likes of Bob Dylan and Joan Baez. Always ready to push musical genres of the day, he formed the Youngbloods. "Get Together" became a #1 hit in 1967.
