Pend Oreille Valley Lavender Festival
Ninth annual event. July 7-8. See lavender at peak bloom in a Tuscan garden setting, shop booths featuring over 75 regional artisans, juried artists and local growers. Enjoy demonstrations, culinary delights, children’s art activities, live music, wine and microbrew garden, visit the enchanted secret gardens of the Lavender Fairies and more. Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with gala concert from 5-9 p.m. and includes tapas plates, wine and beer with music by Pamela Benton; and the festival continues Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
