Jan. 24, 7 p.m.: “Heading Home: The Tale of Team Israel,” is the David-and-Goliath story of Israel’s national baseball team as it competes for the first time in the World Baseball Classic. Directed by Seth Kramer and Daniel A. Miller. English. 87 minutes. Jan. 26, 7 p.m.: “Bye Bye Germany,” follows David Berman and his friends, all Holocaust survivors. Their attempt to make money for fleeing to America begins to reveal David’s shady past. English and German with English subtitles. 102 minutes. Jan. 27, 2 p.m.: “Shoelaces,” is the story of a complicated relationship between an aging father and his special-needs son, whom he abandoned while he was still a young boy. Directed by Jacob Goldwasser. Hebrew with English subtitles. 102 minutes.
