The Tofu Transformation with Jamie Aquino

Partially hands-on class. Jamie will show proper cooking techniques and how to transform tofu’s texture from soft and bland, to chewy and complex, using methods such as Dry Fry and Thousand Layer. Attendees will learn how to use tofu to create creamy dips, desserts, and the “how to” of seasoning and marinating. Each student will get the chance to prep and cook tofu, and will go home with a handy Tofu Guide that includes helpful information on choosing textures/firmness, brands, where to buy non-GMO and organic tofu, how to store tofu, and more.
