Oct. 4. A nurse researcher whose work focuses on the psychological effects of violent injury will speak as the WSU College of Nursing’s 2018 Cleveland Visiting Scholar. Therese Richmond is co-founded the Penn Injury Science Center at the University of Pennsylvania, a collaboration of nursing, medicine and criminology researchers. She is also associate dean for research and innovation at Penn Nursing. Her research focuses on people who are injured through assault or violence, including victims of gunshots and stabbings.
