English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are for non-native English-speaking immigrants, refugees, and citizens to learn how to read, write, speak, and understand English better. Digital and computer literacy is also a focus in ESL classrooms. ESL classes are designed for beginning, intermediate, and advanced English language learners. Our advanced-level classes prepare students to enter a GED or High School Completion course, college level classes, or professional technical programs. ESL classes are taught by faculty from Spokane Community College’s Adult Basic Education Department. Held Sept. 19–Dec .13, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4–8 p.m.
