March 20. A Spokane Public Radio Health Forum event. SPR’s Steve Jackson will moderate a discussion with a panel of health and government experts. They will explore the Affordable Care Act, how the health care maze affects the average consumer, how hospitals and clinics are dealing with changes, the Medicaid gap in Idaho, Medicare options and more. Panelists include: Mike Kreidler, Washington State Insurance Commissioner; Michael Marchand, Washington State Health Exchange and Elaine Couture, Regional Chief Executive of Providence Health Care and former chair of the Washington State Hospital Association. Forum will take place in the Spokane City Council Chambers.
