Tale of Two Rivers

January 25, 2018

An evening of conversation with Lynda Mapes and Rocky Barber. For years, Lynda Mapes has reported for the Seattle Times on the Elwha river restoration from initial studies through dam removal and restoration, culminating in her book “Elwha: A River Reborn.” Rocky Barker has reporting on the issues faced by salmon, farmers, anglers and utilities with relation to the Lower Snake River for the Idaho Statesmen. He published a multi-part, multi-media series on these topics in 2017. The discussion with these two exemplary journalists will be moderated by Eli Francovich, Outdoor Editor for the Spokesman-Review. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with appetizers and no-host bar with presentation at 7 p.m. Please RSVP to jacob@wildsalmon.org with name and contact info. Books will be for purchase from Aunties’ during the event.
