January’s selection is any book written by Martin Luther King Jr., not about him. Books written by King include: “Strength to Love,” “Stride Toward Freedom: The Montgomery Story,” “The Trumpet of Conscience,” “Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community?” and “Why We Can’t Wait.” The Fuse Spokane Book Club meets the second Wednesday of every month. Meetings are in the Level-Up Classroom of the Downtown Public Library, which is on the topmost floor. The event is free, inclusive, welcoming and open to the public.
