Sketchy Drawing with Billy Potts: Explore forms and shapes, detail and texture, shading and light sources, and color. No experience necessary. A three part workshop. Ages 14 and older, June 14, 21 and 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Free, sponsored by the CDA Arts Commission; Black and White Photography with Sylvia Darcy: Learn how to shoot with a film camera using black and film, process the film, and then develop your own prints in the darkroom. Bring your own SLR camera to class. Maximum five students per workshop, so reserve your spot soon. A three part workshop. Ages 13 and older, June 19-21, 6-9 p.m. $105; Play Writing and Puppet Making: Each child will make their own puppet character, these puppets will then be brought to life with a story that they create. The final day will end with a performance. They will learn sculpting techniques, how to layer paint to give their puppets depth, the elements of a story and how to bring that story to the stage.
