Summer Cooking Camp at Second Harvest
Come hang out in the Kitchen at Second Harvest for a hands on Summer Cooking Camp! Ages eight-12 Day 1: Take a dip. Take a ride on the blender bike and make your own hummus dip. Try some delectable fruit in homemade yogurt, and make fun freezer taquito snacks. Day 2: Cruise the Mediterranean. Snack on some chicken pita pockets with homemade tzatziki sauce. Enjoy some Greek cuisine with a healthful quinoa salad. Day 3: Vacation in Italy. Vacation on the coast of Italy for dinner. Make your own turkey meatballs and homemade pasta sauce. Day 4: Lounge on a ‘Dessert’ Island. Cool down with some chocolate banana frozen yogurt! Top is off with a delicious lentil cookie.
