Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m., Camp Opens 9 a.m., (Sunday) CSA Church - CSA Camp 9 a.m., (Sunday) USA Church - Pavilion Tent 10 a.m., Artillery Demo - Battlefield 10:30 a.m., CSA Morning Parade 10:30 a.m., USA Morning Parade 11 a.m., Morning Battle - Battlefield Noon, Medical Demo - Union Camp 1:30 p.m., Infantry Demo - Battlefield 3 p.m., Afternoon Battle - Battlefield 4 p.m., Saturday - Cavalry Demo - CSA Camp 4 p.m., Sunday - Cavalry Demo - Battlefield 5 p.m., Camp Closes Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Black Powder Light Show and Lantern Walk. Awe-inspiring light show on this side of the Mississippi as the valley is shaken and illuminated with artillery fire and flames leap from lines of massed muskets. Travel time with the guides and take a peek at the somber nighttime camps of the armies. Be a fly on a wall at a Civil War field hospital, watching the overworked surgeon attend to his patients; listen in on a conversation between a young soldier and a chaplain; join a soldier at his lonely picket post.
