The Friends of Turnbull and Spokane Audubon Society are collaborating to offer this series of classes. The classes will be a hands-on chance to learn about tools and tips for observing, and identifying birds you see in a fun walk. Audubon Society member Joyce Alonso will lead the classroom session followed by a walk on the Refuge to see which birds we can see. Meet in the classroom at 8:45 a.m. The group will be walking from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Children ages 8 and older are welcome with parents. The class is free, though there is an entry fee for the Refuge of $3.00 per car. Register online at http://fotnwr.org/activities.html.
