The Secret Garden
March 23-25. The Saint George’s School drama department will present the Tony Award-winning musical, “The Secret Garden.” Based on the classic novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, “The Secret Garden” tells the story of a young English girl named Mary Lennox who is orphaned by a cholera outbreak in India in the late 1800’s. Sent to live with an uncle on the Yorkshire moors in the north of England, Mary’s personality gradually blossoms as she and her new friend Dickon bring new life to a neglected garden as well as to her sickly cousin Colin and her sad and bitter Uncle Archibald.
