Pre-registration and payment is required. Monday Classes, 6-8 p.m. $10/person/class: Feb. 6: “Identifying Idaho’s Trees” - Presented by Chris Schnepf, UI Area Extension educator—forestry. Feb. 13: “Managing Your Backyard Forest” - Presented by Chris Schnepf, UI Area Extension educator—forestry. March 6: “Straw Bale Gardening” - Presented by Bruce and Diane Moriarty, certified straw bale garden instructors. March 27: “Growing Microgreens” - Presented by Mia Marcum-McCoy, WSU/Spokane County Master Gardener. Saturday Classes: Feb. 4, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. $40: “Growing in Northern Idaho (at the North Idaho State Fair)” - Presented by Idaho Master Gardeners. Feb. 11, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. $15/person or $20/two-member-family sharing materials: “Beekeeping: European Honey Bees and Native Bees” - Presented by Kim Knerl, beekeeper and honorary Idaho Master Gardener, and Kara Carleton, coordinator, Idaho Master Gardener Program. Ages 12 years and older. Feb. 25, 2-4 p.m. $10: “Don’t Panic, It’s Organic (Vegetable Gardening)” - Presented by Nina Eckberg, horticultural consultant, certified pest control professional and arborist. March 18, 1-3 p.m. $10: “Beneficial Insects in the Garden and Landscape” - Presented by Mara C.G., certified veteran Idaho Master Gardener.
