Gleason Fest 2017
Gleason Fest is an annual music festival inspired by Spokane native and former football player for the New Orleans Saints, Steve Gleason, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2011. All proceeds benefit the Gleason Initiative Foundation mission of providing life-improving technology and services to those afflicted with ALS and create global awareness for the disease. Music by Grouplove, with the London Souls, Lavoy and Hey! is For Horses. Family-friendly event, with alcohol available for those 21 and over. There will be several food trucks on site, as well as a photo booth and kids area. Free parking will be available at WSU Spokane, just a short walk down the Centennial Trail to the park.
