Tumbleweed Music Festival
Hear great acoustic music on the banks of the Columbia River with over 120 performances of folk music, bluegrass, Celtic, nautical, blues, and more. The festival is family-friendly with some sets devoted to children’s songs and arts and crafts activities. The theme for 2014 is Kindred Spirits – celebrating the ageless love of music between the generations. This 18th annual Tumbleweed Music Festival gets started with a free Friday evening concert planned, produced and performed by young local talent. Free music continues Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. with performances by musicians from seven US states and Canada. Local musicians Laddie Ray Melvin and The Brown’s Mountain Boys will be performing at Tumbleweed as well.
