A writing, performance, poetry and spoken word workshop presented by Spokane Poetry Slam. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to professionals. There is no need to bring anything you have written beforehand. The event consists of writing prompts, time for writing and a supportive discussion. This workshop is open to poets and fans of all ages, but Spokane Poetry Slam does not censor for content. Discretion is advised. This month’s workshop is led by Seth Marlin, who recently earned an MFA in Creative Writing from EWU and a Pushcart Award nomination.
