Priest Lake Yard and Garden Show

July 21, 2014

Priest Lake Yard and Garden Show, showing of regionally crafted contemporary and rustic accents for home, patio, yard and garden. New this year are unique Adirondak-style chairs by Coeur d’Alene craftsman John Swendig, who calls himself a “farmer-cist by trade, and jack of all.” Better known as The Mica Bay Chair Man, Swendig re-purposes old skis, snowboards and sleds to create comfortable Adirondak-style furniture. The gallery’s garden and walkways sparkle with colorful glass ornaments, birdbaths, garden lighting, framed mirrors, and forged iron pieces. Regional artists and craftsmen can bring a unique, personal touch to any yard and garden, whether creating a fun, inviting atmosphere for entertaining, a quiet serene spot for reflection or for bringing the outside indoors, through Sept. 15. Open daily 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
