This month TIEG (The Inland Empire Gardeners) turns 20 years old and they are throwing themselves a birthday party and have invited a very special guest. Ciscoe Morris brings energy into gardening and makes it fun, exciting and simple. He has such a wealth of knowledge about what works and what doesn’t. Ciscoe would be the first to admit to many gardening mistakes, but without those mistakes he wouldn’t have the gardening triumphs. We all learn from our mistakes, and hard as it is to believe, he’s made a few little boo-boos in his long gardening career. He will share some of his favorite garden disaster stories in the hope that you can learn from his mistakes and hopefully make sure it never happens to you. Ciscoe’s talk is entitled “Gardening 101: Misery Loves Company Ooh la la! My Biggest Bloopers Ever!” Join Ciscoe as he confesses his (gasp!) gardening faux pas and epic fails. Yes, even the best gardeners miscalculate at times, and he has the dead plants and disastrous design to show for it. Come to the June meeting for a laugh and learn something from a true northwest gardening original.
