A free, live opera performance for the whole family presented by Opera Coeur d’Alene. Written by 19th century composer Engelbert Humperdinck, is based on the famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. This timeless story is of two children lost in the haunted forest, locked in a cage by a wicked witch, but ultimately welcomed home by their father with tears of joy.
