Gypsy Rose Lee put the “tease” into strip tease at a time when most performers concentrated on bump and grind rather than style and seduction. She took her act from vaudeville and went on to become a Broadway actress, playwright, book author and entertainment legend. A portion of funds raised from the June 4 production will benefit Partnering for Progress’ mission to bring health, education and water to residents in developing countries. Doors open at 6:30 for socializing, raffle prizes, wine tasting by Northwest Cellars.
