“Articulating a Positive Relationship Between Christians and Jews”

Martin Kavka, the Philip and Murel Berman Chair in Jewish Studies at Lehigh University, will discuss how it is possible for Jewish-Christian dialogue to extend beyond mutual affirmation to a more positive and mutually supporting relationship. In a world where religions are often closely intertwined, relationships between religions can be complex. The relationship between Judaism and Christianity can be even more complicated due to their shared origins and the fact that Christianity arose in the Jewish faith background.
