Expo ‘74 was a monumental achievement that changed our community. The INB Performing Arts Center Lobby will be filled with memorabilia, nostalgia and exhibits from Expo ‘74. The exhibit space will be open to the public from noon-4 p.m. on May 3. The suggested donation is $4 - which was also the price of a one-day admission to Expo! This set-up was done in partnership with the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture of this once-in-a-lifetime nostalgic event. Later that evening we will gather with friends, neighbors and community members to celebrate all that Expo ’74 did for our community, especially creating the heart of Spokane - Riverfront Park! The evening will begin with a Cocktail reception and entertainment from 6-7 p.m. in Ballrooms A,B and C in the Convention Center. We will enjoy an internationally-themed dinner and program beginning at 7 p.m., and then adjourn to the Performing Arts Center Lobby for dessert, drinks and to enjoy the exhibits. Cocktail attire is suggested-from whatever decade you choose!
