Tundra Swan Festival

See the hundreds of swans that migrate through the Pend Oreille River Valley in February and March, resting and feeding on Calispell Lake, designated an Important Bird Area, during the journey to their breeding grounds. The movie “Forever Wild: Celebrating America’s Wilderness” will be shown, followed by a short talk about wilderness experiences by Gayne Sears, USFS District Ranger, Newport/Sullivan Lake Ranger District.
