Spokane Choral Artists presents a concert celebrating the diversity in the world of choral music. The concert will include choral music from all over the world, sung in many different languages including, Russian, Japanese, Quichua, Arabic, Osing, Spanish, French and Latin. Showcase work is Misa Criolla by Ariel Ramirez featuring guest soloist, Nic Vigil from Milonga, and local musicians, Bryan Swenland, percussion and Rob Peterson, bass. Spokane Choral Artists is a choral ensemble comprised of 12-16 local singers, many of whom are professional musicians, teachers, and performers in the Spokane-Coeur d’Alene area. Under the direction of Max Mendez, SCA strives to present creative programs featuring rare or seldom heard compositions, promoting the art and beauty of choral music through a high level of musicianship, in aesthetically beautiful surroundings.
