German-American Society Pioneer Day
Honoring the thousands of German-speaking immigrants who settled in the Pacific Northwest during the last two centuries. They are the tradesmen, farmers, teachers, businessmen and many other professionals who helped lay the foundation for a cultural heritage which we are still enjoying today. In addition to the Concordia Choir of the German-American Society, we are welcoming the Singgemeinschaft Choir of Calgary, Canada. Both groups will perform traditional German and American song selections. The festival begins at 6 p.m. with a special German-style dinner. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m., followed with dancing to the music of the Good N’ Plenty Band. Reservations required.
