Pianist Jason Coleman
Grandson of the legendary Nashville pianist Floyd Cramer performs. Presented b y the Shoshone County Community Concert Association. He is an active recording musician and church music associate in Nashville, TN. He debuted on the Grand Ole Opry at age 17. Coleman’s natural inclination to the piano was clear by the age of five. In addition to his formal training, Jason displayed an uncanny reflection of his grandfather’s stylings. Most famously he performed piano duets with Floyd on “Music City Tonight” hosted by Lorraine Crook and Crystal Gayle at the age of nine, and on “Nashville Now” hosted by Ralph Emery at four years of age. Most memorable for Coleman, however, was his performance at the induction of his grandfather into the Country Music Hall of Fame with the Opry House Band.
