“Ghosts and Empties,” black and white photographs by Jen Mitsuko and Larry Blackwood. Blackwood’s “Ghosts and Empties” is a collection of toned black and white photographs of an old abandoned amusement park printed in a pictorialist style. The result is a set of ghostly images suggesting imperfect memories of childhood merged with dreamy, imagination, and desire. Mitsuko creates photographs and uses various aesthetics and concepts ranging from surrealism to abstract dealing with themes such as love, death and loss, through Nov. 1.
