35th season opens with music by Charles Ives and Franz Schubert, two composers who showed something of a rebellious streak in their day, on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 3pm at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. The program begins with two selections by Ives—Prelude from String Quartet No. 1 “From the Salvation Army” and String Quartet No. 2 - and concludes with Franz Schubert’s String Quartet in G major, D. 887. Mateusz Wolski and Amanda Howard-Phillips, violinists; Jeannette Wee-Yang, violist and Helen Byrne, cellist.
